The 2018 neighbourhood bike ride was a success
On August 16, Spruce Cliff Community Association partnered with the Kiwanis Club http://www.kiwaniscalgarychinook.ca/index.html and Two Wheel View https://www.twowheelview.org to provide 10 Spruce Cliff kids ages 8 to 14 with bikes, helmets and locks of their own. With these bikes these kids would be able to attend Spruce Cliff’s first Neighbourhood Ride in September.
The event was held on Sunday, September 16 between 1:30 and 3:00 p.m. and visited all parts of Spruce Cliff largely avoiding our 2 busiest roads (Spruce Drive & 37 Street).
At the end of the ride everyone met back at Spruce Cliff Centre for pizza and beverages, courtesy of the Spruce Cliff Community Association.
