The Good Shepherd Labyrinth
Labyrinths have been around for over 4,000 years and have proven to be a helpful tool in spiritual meditation and prayer. Walking a labyrinth invites us to quiet our minds, calm our bodies, and stir our spirits on a journey to a place of presence. It can be a symbol of transformation and wholeness. It can be a place for healing. It can be walked alone or in a group, in joy or in sorrow, with a question in mind or simply open to the gift it offers. The experience will be different each time.
You are welcome to walk the labyrinth on the front lawn of the Church of the Good Shepherd at 408 – 38th Street S.W. It’s accessible 24/7, so you can always come at a time that is most convenient for you. We have a free little library right next to the labyrinth, and you’ll find brochures with more information about the labyrinth attached to it. Please feel free to come Wander and Wonder.
